    Making French toast is always fun for me. I make variations with ingredients according to my family’s tastes. This is going to be fun for you too. Your kids are going to love this snack which is healthy and at the same time, it is super delicious and fluffy.

    Classic French toast recipe

    Ingredients and preparation of Classic French toast recipe

    6 slices of bread of your choice, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, sugar or honey (your choice), 14 tsp vanilla extract and butter. It takes only 5-10 min to make this delicious French toast. Now you have to take a bowl and add eggs , vanilla extract , milk and sugar and beat it nicely .

    Take a non-stick pan and then heat it now when the pan gets heated up add butter . Dip each slice of bread in this batter and place them on the pan. Wait for a few seconds and turn the slices of bread. Your quick healthy toast is ready to serve.  A glass of milk with this French toast and a fruit platter will be the ideal choices.

    Cinnamon French toast

    For people who love to add the flavor of spices, this Cinnamon French Toast Recipe will be an addition to your breakfast recipes.

    Ingredients and preparation of Cinnamon French toast

    4 slices of bread, 1/1 tsp cinnamon powder (freshly grounded), 1 egg, ¼ cup milk, honey to taste and butter. Blend the egg with milk, cinnamon powder, and honey.     4 slices of multi-grain gluten free bread, 1/2 cup skimmed milk, 1 egg, a dash of vanilla extract, 2 banana (sliced), maple syrup and a tbsp brown sugar.

    In a bowl, whisk the egg, milk and vanilla extract. Dip the slices of bread in this batter and toast it in a frying pan with butter. During that time, you can saute the banana slices in butter with brown sugar.

    Flip the bread slices and toast both sides. Now place the banana slices on each piece of bread and place another piece of bread on top. Cut them into a triangle shape. Serve it hot with maple syrup and strawberries (any fruit of your choice).

    Ingredients and preparation of Honey and Lemon French toast

    5 slices of bread of your choice, powdered sugar,1/2 tbsp chia flour, 1 cup almond milk or regular milk, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp honey. Now whisk the milk softly with chia flour, cinnamon, salt, and honey. Let this mixture rest for 10 mins. Preheat a frying pan and add butter to it. Note: If chia powder is not available, use an egg).

    Take bread slices and dip it in the batter we made. Toast the bread in the frying for 3 – 4 min to cook both the sides until the bread turns light golden brown.

    Make the lemon sauce by mixing 2 tbsp fresh butter (unsalted), 3 tbsp honey, 12 lemon (squeezed) and heat it for 15 seconds. You add more honey or lemon according to your taste. Pour this tangy sauce over the French toast and serve hot with a few lemon slices. You can dust some icing sugar on top of the toasts or pour some sweet maple syrup.     To start preparing, mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Keep the bread slices aside. Refrigerate the batter for 10- 20 min. Preheat your frying pan over medium heat and add butter to it. Take out the batter made and dip the bread slices one by one in it and toast the bread in butter. Flip the sides carefully without breaking the bread slices. Toast your bread until it turns into a light golden brown. Top those French toast with fruits and maple syrup and enjoy the Crispy French toast for an evening snack.

    To make the Raspberry sauce, boil the berries in water until it is cooked. Add sugar or maple syrup to and whisk it well to form a thick paste. Do not mash all the raspberries while you whisk. It is good to have small pieces of berries in the sauce that can add a punch of freshness to the toasts. Pour this sauce over the toasts and relish the sweet and crispy bites.

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Boil 3 cups of water with 1 tsp salt in a saucepan. Add the cornmeal to it and keep whisking. Do not forget to reduce the flame while whisking. The cornmeal will be cooked in about 3 min and you can keep it aside. Add ¼ cup of cheddar cheese to this mixture and spread this onto a buttered baking tray.

    Heat a non-stick pan and add olive oil to it. Now, brown the ground meat over medium heat and stir often. Transfer the meat to a bowl. Saute the onion and zucchini in olive oil for about 5min and stir in the partly cooked ground beef, tomato purée and diced tomatoes. Simmer the flame and let it cook for 10 min.

    The next step is to pour the ground beef mixture over the polenta/cornmeal crust that is spread on a baking tray. Sprinkle the balance ¾ cup of cheddar cheese and bake it in the preheated oven for 30min.

    Serve it hot by sprinkling the fresh parsley on top.
